University College Cork is located on the south coast in Ireland's second largest city, and offers independent thinking, vibrant college life and stunning surrounding scenery. Its beautiful campus combines a gothic revival style main Quadrangle building with modern student amenities, classroom buildings and laboratories and a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
There are many unique academic opportunities at UCC from business, economics and science to traditional Irish dance and music, folklore, and literature. Modern languages, law and biological sciences at UCC are featured in the top 100 institutions worldwide by the QS World Rankings 2013. In addition, UCC has been nationally ranked first among Irish universities for engineering (electrical and electronic) and environmental sciences. The Cork University Business School is one of the largest in Ireland and is dually accredited by the AACSB and AMBA professional bodies.
You’ll find over 80 societies and clubs to choose from and the indoor sports facility, the Mardyke Arena, has recently undergone a €16 million redevelopment and is now one of the leading indoor sports facilities in Ireland.
