At SOAS, you can expect a faculty-to-student ratio of one to twelve. Teaching is conducted primarily through lectures, seminars and tutorials, which are supplemented by language laboratory work where appropriate.

In addition to bars, restaurants and an entertainment venue that attracts major bands and comedy acts, you'll find the union equipped with shops, a fitness center and weights room, health spa, squash and badminton courts, and swimming pool.
