As an Arcadia student at King’s College London, you will live in King’s university housing. You’ll settle in and learn to live as a true Londoner. King’s university buildings are peppered across a central London area, so regardless of which residence hall you are assigned, you should expect a 15-45 minute commute to classes (great for London!). It’s best to be flexible and open-minded regarding where you will live—some housing options are very popular.

When selecting King's housing options, it is not possible to request a particular residence; you'll simply choose between room with a private bathroom or a shared bathroom. A supplementary fee may be charged for any of the King's residences.

  • Mostly single rooms within shared flats of up to ten rooms.
  • All housing is self-catered and does not offer a meal plan.
  • All residences offer shared kitchen facilities.
  • Coin-operated laundry facilities are available.
  • Each residence has wireless internet access; students may need to pay an activation fee directly to the university.
  • 24-hour security available in all residences.
  • You will need to provide your own linens, towels, cutlery and dishes. We suggest that you purchase these items when you arrive in the UK.

If King's housing is unavailable, you'll be placed in Arcadia student housing with other students on Arcadia programs in London. Rooms may be singles, doubles, or triples, and will have shared bathrooms. Arcadia housing is self-catered and kitchen facilities will be available for you to use to prepare meals. Arcadia housing is located 20-45 minutes from the King's Stand and Waterloo campuses.
