Congratulations on surviving the first few weeks of your spring semester! You've navigated finding classes in a foreign country and studying with new peers and professors. Now that classes are settling into a rhythm and assignments are starting to appear on the horizon, we’ve got a run-down of the support and study spaces available to help you achieve academic success here in England and Wales!
Open to all students enrolled in study-abroad Arcadia programs in England and Wales, the Writing Center is a great way to get advice and support on your upcoming papers.
Our senior faculty at Arcadia London are on hand to help! As well as being available via weekly office hours, throughout the semester, at the Writing Center they can help with anything from perfecting your writing style, to researching, to grammar.
Be warned, they won't actually write your essays, but they’ll give invaluable guidance to help you on your way. So make sure you bring something along, or at least have a clear idea about what it is you wish to discuss!

A 20min walk from the Arcadia London centre, the British Library is the UK's hub for academic resources. The collection includes well over 150 million items, in most known languages and 3 million new items are added every year. Most importantly, it has lots of study space available year-round, as well as a few cafés in which you can re-fuel before the studying begins in earnest.
Arcadia students studying in London can obtain a British Library Reader Pass, allowing you to carry out research in their Reading Rooms and access their online collections. Just ask in the Arcadia London Centre.
Finally, here at the London Center we have a computer lab, complete with free printing available Monday-Friday 8.30am-9.00pm. Additionally there is the possibility of using classroom space for group work, by booking at reception.
Good luck with your studies!
