Explore the mountains and cultural past of Scotland as you learn about the history and culture of this fascinating land both inside and outside the classroom. You'll be living and breathing the make-up of this country. Participate in 3 full day excursions and numerous site visits throughout Scotland. Your Historic Scotland offers free access to many historic sites.
The program is based in Edinburgh, which itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and you will study through the Arcadia Edinburgh Center with the full support of our staff and faculty.

You will enroll in the Scottish History course with the option to add Curating, Interpretation and Heritage: A Scottish Perspective if interested.
Your courses are integrated with field trips to explore both the cultural past and landscape of Scotland.
You’ll complete your coursework alongside Museum Studies Interns so you’ll get to know other Arcadia students in Edinburgh.
