Housing
You will be housed in Base Glasgow, a purpose built complex specifically for RCS students. Located within a ten-minute walk to the main RCS teaching facilities, Base Glasgow is close to the main shopping area, dining, and entertainment precincts of the bustling city of Glasgow.
Opened in 2018, Base Glasgow is a modern student housing complex containing game rooms, a cinema room, a roof terrace, and a free on-site gym. As a student of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, you will also have access to practice rooms and a dance studio to hone your skills outside of the classroom.
You will typically be allocated an en-suite room in a shared apartment with up to 5 other students, although there are some private studio apartments available. All bedrooms are equipped with a double bed, ample storage, and work spaces.

Also included at Base Glasgow:
- Each apartment has a kitchen/living area with standard appliances and couches. (The size of the shared space will vary depending on the number of students residing in that apartment.) You must provide your own cookware and utensils.
- Paid laundry facilities are available on site.
- Wi-Fi is provided throughout the housing complex.
- Arcadia will provide a link to purchase a bedding pack and other incidentals before arrival.
- You should bring towels.
- Content insurance for your personal belongings.
