You will be placed in one of two housing complexes located in the popular Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh (birthplace of Sean Connery) and within easy reach of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and a cinema and entertainment complex.

Orwell Terrace is Edinburgh Napier’s newest housing complex and is the most common placement for single-semester Study Abroad students, along with postgraduate students and older undergraduates (those 20 years and above).

Bainfield Student Village is Edinburgh Napier’s largest undergraduate housing complex and is generally where most of the first-year undergraduates reside. Please note, Arcadia does not make any decision on where students are placed.

Fountainbridge is also a 20-minute walk or short bus journey from Edinburgh’s most popular areas, including Edinburgh’s central shopping district at Princes Street, the heart of the historic Old Town, and Edinburgh Castle.

In addition to being centrally located within the city, both housing options are in a prime location -- just 15-minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Napier University’s Merchiston campus and right on the main bus routes to both Craiglockhart and Sighthill campuses.
