Corrib Village
what student residents say

Arcadia students are often housed in on-campus accommodation such as Corrib Village.

Students are also often placed off-campus in nearby student apartments. Students can expect to live within walking distance or a short bus journey to Galway City Center and the university.  You can visit the many cultural attractions the city has to offer. You can also take a day trip to one of the world’s top island destinations in the The Aran Islands.

The number of residents within each apartment may vary depending on the location and style of the housing options available. You should expect to share a bedroom and bathroom facilities. Apartments may be co-ed, although your roommate will be the same gender. All apartments are self-catered, so you should expect cooking for yourself on a daily basis. There are a number of convenient markets located nearby to purchase your groceries.

Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchen, a shared living area with a television and other modern amenities. Self-service laundry facilities are available within the complex, each washer/dryer costing a small fee per load. Gym facilities are not available within the housing complex, however there is a gym on campus available at an additional cost.

You will be provided with your own duvet (comforter) and bed linen upon your arrival. You are responsible for bringing your towels (we recommend both a hand towel and bath towel), but you can purchase additional linen and towels for a reasonable price in the local shopping center.
