The campus of University College Dublin stretches through the southern suburbs of Dublin, offering you a contained environment in which to reside and access the facilities. However, the cultural opportunities of Dublin’s city center are only a short bus ride away.

You will be housed on campus in the UCD Residences, co-ed apartments with single bedrooms and either en-suite or shared bathroom facilities, a shared living room and a kitchen. From your residence, you will be able to walk to your classes and all of the University amenities.

The apartments are self-catered, so you will be required to prepare your own meals. There are a number of convenient markets located nearby to purchase your groceries. There is a laundry facility on-site where you can wash/dry your clothes for a minimal fee. Wireless internet access is provided throughout the UCD residences, and a number of wheelchair- accessible rooms are also available. Most locations have a number of social spaces, which include pool tables, TV's, table tennis, Xbox, Nintendo Switch. and Netflix.

You will be provided with your own duvet (comforter) and bed linen upon your arrival. You are responsible for bringing your towels (we recommend both a hand towel and bath towel), but you can purchase additional linen and towels for a reasonable price in the local shopping center. You are also responsible for providing your own kitchen utensils (cutlery, crockery, cookware such as pots and pans) although some may still be in your apartment upon arrival.
