Students on our UCC program are often placed at Yugo Lee Point, or other student housing locations, situated near Cork city center. Most of the popular student housing in Cork is about a 15-minute walk to University College. You are also within walking distance to many of the top visitor attractions in Cork, and a short bus journey from the Blarney Castle And Gardens and the vibrant town of Kinsale.

Move In	A Safer Community

Typically, you will be housed in an apartment with five to seven other students. You usually have your own single bedroom with storage space, a study desk and private en-suite facilities. It is also not unusual for you to share a twin, en-suite room.

You will share a kitchen and living space with your roommates, a great place to share meals and socialize together. The apartments are self-catered, so you will be required to prepare your own meals. There are a number of convenient markets located nearby to purchase your groceries. There is a laundry facility on-site. where you can wash/dry your clothes for a minimal fee.

Along with the support of Arcadia University staff in Dublin, there is a dedicated team of friendly residential staff at Cork student housing. They are available around the clock to ensure, from the moment you receive your keys, that you are included in the diverse and friendly student community. 

You will be provided with your own duvet (comforter) and bed linen upon your arrival. You are responsible for bringing your towels (we recommend both a hand towel and bath towel), and you can purchase additional linen and towels for a reasonable price in the local shopping center.
