Students studying at the Dublin Parliamentary Internship are often housed in student residences located in the heart of Dublin city, in the beautiful and unique neighbourhood of The Liberties. Students can expect to be living 30-minutes bus ride from the Institute of Public Administration (where classes are held) and about a 30-minute walk from the Irish Parliament (where the Internship will be held). The housing is also about a 20-minute walk from the Arcadia Dublin Center. When visiting the Arcadia Dublin Center, you will see how close we are to the unique Christ Church Cathedral.
Typical Dublin student housing includes five to eight students in each apartment. You will enjoy a single bedroom with plenty of wardrobe and under-bed storage, a study desk, large windows and a private en-suite bathroom. You will share a kitchen and living space with other residents. The apartments are self-catered, so you will be required to prepare your own meals and there are a number of convenient stores and markets around Dublin where you can purchase your groceries. There is a laundry facility on site where you can wash/dry your clothes for a minimal fee.
Along with the support of Arcadia University staff in Dublin, there is a dedicated team of friendly residential staff at student residences around Dublin. They are available around the clock to ensure, from the moment you receive your keys, that you are included in the diverse and friendly student community and supported with any issue, big or small, that you may encounter.
You will be provided with your own duvet (comforter) and bed linen upon your arrival. You are responsible for bringing your towels (we recommend both a hand towel and bath towel), and you can purchase additional linen and towels for a reasonable price in the local stores or malls.
