If you are participating in the Dublin Internship Program Summer, you will have the freedom to experience and explore Dublin while residing in Arcadia-provided flats just south of Dublin city center, concentrated in the Dublin 2, Dublin 4, and Dublin 6 areas. Your housing will be about a 35/40 minute walk or 25-minute bus ride from your classes. The location of the internship placements vary and so your commute time from your housing to your placement will vary. An hour's commute one-way via public transportation to the placement is not uncommon.

The flats are self-catered so you will be preparing your own meals and shopping at a nearby grocery store. Each flat is equipped with a clothes washer and telephone to be used with a calling card. None of the apartments have clothes dryers. As energy costs are high in Ireland, most people dry their clothes on a clothes horse (rack). These are provided in each of the apartments. Arcadia housing also has a Student Life and Residence Assistant. This person is dedicated to assisting students with their housing as well as helping them feel connected to their local Dublin community. Wireless internet access is also provided. Arcadia apartments are available only to students studying abroad with Arcadia in Dublin.
