You will enroll in 12-18 credits per semester at Central Saint Martins, London College of Communication or London College of Fashion.

  • Please review your courses with your academic or study abroad advisor to ensure they will transfer back to your home school and that you are following your home school’s policies.
  • Please be flexible – we can’t guarantee specific courses. If your participation in the program depends on a particular course, be sure to make a note on your online preferences form.
  • When completing your Academic Preferences Form, please review all course information for the program carefully.

Choosing Your Courses

UAL offers two types of study abroad programs across its colleges:

  • Integrated Study Abroad Program: Study alongside full-time UAL degree students
  • Semester Study Abroad Program: Study alongside other overseas students for a semester

Below are the programs available to Arcadia students. Visit each College’s page for course and credit information of their programs:

Enrollment Process

Arcadia will submit your courses to the UAL college of your choice when we have your completed application, including your Academic Preferences Form. The Academic Preferences Form you submit to Arcadia prior to acceptance is not set in stone.

UAL will share with us your provisional course allocations, all which are subject to change upon arrival, as their timetables are not shared in advance.

You will have a drop/add period at the beginning of the semester where you can make changes to your course registration.

If your enrollment is conditional upon entry into a specific course or courses, it is very important that you indicate these requirements at the bottom of the academic preferences form on your Arcadia Portal.

Grade Scale

Grades will be reported exactly as they appear on the UAL transcript.
