King’s College London is credited with the invention of telegraphy, the first use of antiseptic medicine, the development of beta-blockers, and the discovery of the structure of DNA. Today, many of the College's well-known centers of excellence – developmental neurobiology, medical law and ethics, and drug control – lead cutting-edge research in their respective fields.

Outside of your studies, you can take advantage of King's central location and explore the many nearby cultural and historical attractions. For sports enthusiasts, the College has a range of facilities that include a swimming pool and fitness gym. As with most UK university fitness centers, there is an additional cost to use the facilities.

Additional to the college’s exciting social programme, you will have access to Arcadia’s comprehensive excursions and free events. Our experienced local team will show you the sights around the UK as part of our subsidized excursions. Among other free events, look out for Talk of the Town, our free guest lecture series that invites some of the leading minds in London, to talk about their field in a local pub.
