Content Contributors

What is the Arcadia Abroad Content Contributor program? 

The Content Contributor Program is designed for currently enrolled students to share their study abroad experiences with the Arcadia Abroad community. Your work will be shared on our website’s Student Stories and on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Posts are also shared with your US university’s study abroad office. 

A new cohort of Contributors is chosen each term, so you’re signing up only for the duration of your study abroad program. 

What do Content Contributors do? 

Every Content Contributor writes at least one blog post and completes an end-of-program reflection form. Fall and Spring semester students share at least 4 additional posts, while Summer students share at least 3 additional posts, which can include

• Photos with captions/descriptions,
• Short-form videos for TikTok or Instagram Reels,
• Long-form videos for YouTube, and
• Blog posts.

Benefits of Joining 

While there is no financial compensation to joining this program, this is a great opportunity for you to: 

• Build your resume with volunteer experience in social media, content writing, and general marketing, 
• Express your passion for studying abroad while sharing your knowledge and experiences other students who may be planning to study abroad, 
• Grow your own social media presence, 
• Network with fellow alumni and higher educational professionals, and
• Earn a digital badge for your LinkedIn profile.
