Content Contributors

What is the Arcadia Abroad Content Contributor program? 

The Content Contributor Program is designed for currently enrolled students to share their study abroad experiences with the Arcadia Abroad community. Your work will be shared on our website’s Student Stories and on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Posts are also shared with your US university’s study abroad office. 

A new cohort of Contributors is chosen each term, so you’re signing up only for the duration of your study abroad program. 

What do Content Contributors do? 

You will submit a handful of pieces that can be shared on the Arcadia Abroad website, social media pages, and marketing materials. This can include

• Photos with captions/descriptions,
• Short-form videos for TikTok or Instagram Reels,
• Long-form videos for YouTube, and
• Blog posts.

Every Content Contributor writes at least one blog post and completes an end-of-program reflection form. Fall and Spring semester students share at least 4 additional posts, while Summer students share at least 3 additional posts. These additional posts can be a mixture of blogs, photos, and videos.

We’ll give you prompts and examples of what you can submit, but we also love to see what you come up with!

While we provide plenty of prompts and examples for each type of content, our team encourages our Contributors to be themselves and create pieces that they are passionate about! Students have complete autonomy when it comes to what they are sharing.]

What are Content Contributors expected to share? 

All Contributors, no matter their study term, are required to submit at least one blog post and complete an end-of-semester reflection form. In addition to this, they share 

• Fall and Spring Semester Students - share an additional 4 posts, which can include photos with descriptions, videos, or blog posts. 
• Summer Students - share an additional 4 posts, which can include photos with descriptions, videos, or blog posts. 
• All Contributors will also complete a short reflection survey at the end of their semester

• Express your passion for studying abroad while sharing your knowledge and experiences other students who may be planning to study abroad,
