Located between the college and the town of Ballyvaughan, about a half mile each way, the Burren College of Art (BCA) student cottages offer a comfortable setting for students studying art in County Clare. You’ll live in cottages with fellow students attending the BCA. The total number of students in each cottage may vary, but you should anticipate sharing a bedroom and bathroom.  Students’ flats may be co-ed; however any individual roommate will be of the same gender.

You will prepare your own meals and do your shopping in the town.  Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen and shared living area, with television and modern amenities. Self-service laundry facilities are available. Each cottage has a telephone, but must be accessed by using a calling card. A shuttle service to and from campus is provided each morning and afternoon.  The town of Ballyvaughan is only a short walk and offers a great opportunity to spend time with locals.  Please also see the Ireland general accommodation information.
