BLYTHSWOOD HOUSE

Opened in 2015, Blythswood House is the Glasgow School of Art's newest, and largest, housing complex. It includes 216 residents, predominantly first-year undergraduates with some international and postgraduate students. All bedrooms at Blythswood House are en-suite -- so it is slightly more expensive than the second option. Additionally, Blythswood House has multiple common areas available for student interaction, including studio and study rooms, gameroom, and a cinema room.

MARGARET MACDONALD HOUSE

Margaret MacDonald House is the original Glasgow School of Art student residence, housing up to 100 students with options for both en-suite bedrooms or shared bathroom facilities.

Both housing options include:

  • Fully furnished bedrooms including wardrobes, desks, and ample storage
  • Shared kitchen/lounge facilities. You must provide your own cookware and utensils.
  • Arcadia will provide a link to purchase a bedding pack and other incidentals before arrival.
  • High Speed Wi-Fi
  • On-site, pay-as-you-go laundry facilities
  • Personal Possessions Insurance
