As a student at the Glasgow School of Art, you will live in self-catered accommodation, either in a flat or student house with other local and international students.  Internet access is provided and token-operated laundry facilities are available.  A pillow and duvet will be included in your bedroom, though you will need to supply your own linens.  Most students opt to purchase bedding materials after arriving in Scotland.  All accommodation at the GSA is non-smoking. As you read through the information below, please also review the general Scotland accommodation information.

Margaret Macdonald House: Each flat accommodates six students in single bedrooms with private or shared bathrooms and a communal living area. You’ll prepare your own meals in shared kitchens. Cutlery and crockery are not provided, but can be purchased inexpensively in Glasgow. The flat is within easy walking distance of the GSA campus as well as shops, restaurants and cafes.

Victoria Hall: This brand-new self-catered residence, popular with undergraduate students, is situated in the city center close to the main shopping and transport hubs of Glasgow. Each flat houses five students in single and large single bedrooms and inlcudes a shared lounge and kitchen.  Each bedroom features a private bathroom. The building also features 24-hour security. Victoria Hall is located within a busy student area, approximately 10-15 minutes walk from GSA; a bus pass is also included in the rent.
