As a student on the St Mary’s University program, you’ll live in on-campus housing.

  • Each room includes a single bed, desk, chair, chest of drawers, wardrobe, and shelf space.
  • Duvet, duvet cover, sheets, and pillow are provided. Towels are not included.
  • All students are placed in catered residences, which means that you’ll be enrolled in a meal plan that includes 14 meals per week (breakfast and dinner), taken in the University Refectory.
  • Shared kitchen areas include a microwave, ironing board, sink, table, chairs, cupboard space, food lockers, kettle, and toaster. Cooking facilities (ovens, stovetop) are not available in the residences.
  • Each residence offers free internet access.
  • Laundry facilities are available on-campus.
  • Academic Year students: The St Mary's campus closes between the fall and spring semesters, and therefore housing is not available during winter break. Students who plan to stay in England between semesters will need to make their own arrangements for housing.

Waldegrave Park Houses

Waldegrave Park Houses are Victorian homes converted to student residences, situated on a pleasant residential road adjacent to St Mary's. Entry to the grounds is via a side gate near the houses, which is swipe access only. There are nine separate buildings that house 12-15 students each, most of whom are home students; the houses vary in shape and size, offering housing in shared (twin) bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities.

University housing is a popular option for visiting and full-time students; space availability and popularity is different each semester. If shared rooms are not available, students will be placed in single rooms at different on-campus residence for a supplemental fee.

If university housing is not available, students will be placed in Arcadia housing. For additional information please also see the main housing page for England.
