Founded in 1714, Worcester College is one the most historic and picturesque of Oxford’s colleges. Located a 10-minute walk from the city center, the college is known for its on-site sports pitches, music and drama, award-winning gardens, and on-site lake. Worcester also has the second-highest proportion of state-school undergraduates of any college in Oxford.
At Worcester, you can study humanities, social sciences, economics, political science, history, and even computer science, which has limited courses at other Oxford colleges. A minimum 3.7 GPA is required and courses are available to academic year, fall, and spring students.
Students will be housed in single en-suite rooms, located a 10-minute walk from the city center. Visiting students are housed alongside other Worcester students, so they’re fully integrated into the life of the college. Housing includes:
Additional to the support that Arcadia provides, students will benefit from a long-established Visiting Student Team who are on hand for any academic or personal concerns. A dedicated Welfare team is also available, including the Head of Student Welfare, the College Nurse, and trained students to support fellow students.
