St Edmund Hall, colloquially known as Teddy Hall, was founded in 1278 and has a claim to be "the oldest academic society for the education of undergraduates in any university." Located in the heart of Oxford. Teddy Hall holds about 780 students total: about 410 undergraduates, 300 graduates, 75 fellows and up to 35 visiting (study abroad) students.
The Mingos Charter Scholarship Fund is available to US students receiving public funding who require further financial assistance to study at Teddy Hall. No additional application is required; all US applicants are considered for this scholarship.

Teddy Hall has a large offering of courses for visiting students including subjects in the Arts, STEM, Finance and Economics, History, Languages and Politics and International Relations. Students wanting to study Earth Science, Management and French are encouraged to apply.
A minimum 3.7 GPA is required and courses are available to academic year, fall and spring students. Preference is given to applicants for the full year, but all terms are considered.
The college library, one of the most impressive in Oxford, is a spectacular decommissioned church.
Visiting students will be housed in one of two houses both within 10 minutes of the college. They are located close to local amenities and a neighborhood popular with students. Both houses boast single rooms with shared bathrooms. Housing includes:
Additional to the support that Arcadia provides, you will have a dedicated Welfare team including the Director for Visiting Students, Personal Tutor, medical professionals and peer support. Known as a particularly friendly college, there will always be someone on hand at Teddy Hall if need be.
Please note the early application deadline for all Oxford colleges. There is one application cycle for academic year, fall and spring and you should submit by January 21st for the following academic year.
