Hi! My name is Laurel, and I'm from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I'm a junior at Duke University, where I'm majoring in Earth and Climate Science and minoring in Biology. I'm on the Pre-Vet track, and I'm especially interested in wildlife and conservation. I'm an avid animal lover and have three cats and two horses at home! I love traveling, skiing, hiking, and backpacking, which is a huge reason why I chose to study abroad in Christchurch this semester!
