Hannah joined The College of Global Studies in 2018 as a Program Manager for Australia and STEM Summer Research and continued her contributions to the college and our students as the Associate Director of Health, Safety, and Security in 2019. Now the Director of Health, Safety, and Security, Hannah is responsible for supporting students' health and safety needs in collaboration with the Advising and Student Engagement team and Arcadia's in-country staff, as well as promoting the college’s health, safety, and security protocols and policies. She is an active member of Pulse: International Safety and Security Professionals in Higher Education and the U.S. Department of State's Overseas Advisory Council and Academic Sector Committee. Prior to coming to Arcadia, Hannah served as a Resident Director at Kutztown University. In this role, she was responsible for managing a large on campus residence hall and for responding to student emergencies 24/7, an experience that provided Hannah with a compassionate perspective for working with college students.
Hannah's zeal for education abroad grew from a variety of international experiences. She participated in an exchange program in Germany as a high school student, studied abroad as an undergraduate for a summer in London, Salzburg, Vienna, Venice, and Rome, and lived and worked in the Czech Republic as an English teacher and Admissions Counselor for a TEFL certification school. Hannah often reflects on the helpful people that assisted her in her international endeavors and values her role in ensuring student’s health and confidence in their travels in addition to assisting students, their families, and The College when the unexpected occurs abroad.
Hannah holds a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in German and a M. Ed. in Student Affairs in Higher Education Administration, both from Kutztown University.
