I have a broad interest in all aspects of Scottish history, as well as the nation’s literature, politics and culture. Having already received an undergraduate degree and an MRes in History, I am soon to complete my doctoral thesis on ‘Ex-Servicemen and Crime in Interwar Scotland.’ I have worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Stirling for the past few years, and have taught across a variety of courses. I particularly enjoy working with overseas students and making sure that they get the most out of their time in Scotland. I have had articles published in Scottish Labour History, Scottish Church History and most recently History Scotland. Outside of work I enjoy long-distance running, traveling, reading and attending football matches.
