Michelle joined the College of Global Studies in May 2013. A strong advocate for studying abroad, Michelle’s travels began with a short homestay in Ireland when she was 16 and have grown from there. Originally from Pennsylvania, she attained her BA in European Studies, Italian and French at University College, Cork in Ireland, as well as her MA in Sociology. During that time she also spent one year studying abroad at Università di Bologna in Italy. Prior to working with Arcadia, she worked with the Irish branch of the Experiment in International Living, organizing student and participant placements to study and volunteer abroad. She relocated back to the USA in early 2013 and began working at Arcadia shortly thereafter. She enjoys traveling, cooking and language learning.
