Carly joined the College of Global Studies in March 2012 with a background in Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American Studies. Carly earned her B.A. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Master's degree in Global and International Education from Drexel University. Carly has always had a passion for international education and foreign languages. She studied abroad twice as an undergraduate in Valparaíso, Chile and Granada, Spain, interned at her university’s study abroad office, and then shortly after graduating moved back to Chile for almost two years, where she taught English in a Chilean public high school. She has been fortunate enough to travel throughout Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and strongly believes that all students should experience the life-changing opportunity of studying abroad.

Once students apply to study abroad, I encourage them to 'dig deeper' and really learn about where they have chosen to study."
