Nervous on the First Date

February 18, 2014I’m currently infatuated with the city of Barcelona. I’ve been living with 7 other international students (1 Italian, 1 Bulgarian, 1 Croatian, 1 Swede, 1 German, and 3 other Americans). I am a first-time apartment owner and the freedom is absolutely exciting. Although I love to hangout with my Arcadia group, it’s been a privilege to have another group of friends to share this experience with. It feels as if I’ve known my flat mates for years. Each night, we have dinner together and watch Spanish television programs or movie. My favorite is when there is a birthday in the house. We cook his/her’s favorite food, concoct some form of birthday dessert, and the merriment continues…

Estoy enamorada con la ciudad de Barcelona. He estado viviendo con siete estudiantes internacionales (1 italiano, 1 búlgaro, 1 croata, 1 sueco, 1 alemán, y otros 3 de los estadounidenses). Soy propietaria de un apartamento, y la libertad es emocionante. Aunque me encanta pasar tiempo con mi grupo de Arcadia, que ha sido un privilegio ser parte de otro grupo de amigos para compartir esta experiencia. Se siente como si hubiera conocido a estos amigos para siempre. Cada noche, cenamos juntos y ver programas de televisión en español o una película. Mi favorito es cuando hay un cumpleaños en la casa. Cocinamos él / ella ‘s comida favorita, inventamos algún tipo de postre de cumpleaños, y la alegría continúa …
