Fish and Chips, Mate

Oii mate, I finally made it to get a proper set of english fish and chips. And guess what? I didn’t get fish and chips. Poppie’s, one of the most famous fish and chip restaurants in all of London has been around since WWII and has grown with the city like you’d never have imagined.
Their menu offers all the same exciting foods originally branded by the restaurant during the war years. Because of this I thought why not take a little food adventure. BIG MISTAKE! The calamari rings were to die for but… the jellied eel… I don’t even know where to start.
One thing I would reccomend when coming to England and that is to not try the jellied eel no matter how much the waiter talks it up to you. It is not good and never will be and you will be left trying to get the awful taste out of your mouth for days.
