I’ve been looking for an excuse to find my way to Bristol since I jumped the pond to England. This unique city is known for it’s street art but if you ask my mom it’s known as the birthplace of America’s discoverer John Cabot in 1487. But that’s history, lets live in the present and presently it’s coated in amazing art from world famous artists such as Banksy, Stik and many others alike.
A lot of the artists I came across in Bristol also have work in areas around London such as Shoreditch and Kentish town. It blows my mind that art this breathtaking can be seen as an eyesore by many city goers. Petitions are frequented in Bristol to keep some of it’s more famous pieces alive but still everyday unique creations are being covered up. It’s the 21st century people, accept art for it’s vastness and don’t ask questions or restrict it to 8x10 frames.
