Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) offered a welcome presentation to all summer students with sessions of university academic and community services, language exchange and volunteering, campus tours guided and a specific session on Academic contents, policies and procedures by the academic director Dr. Marc Sanjuan

UPF offers a wide variety of courses to improve the curriculum of local and international undergraduate students. Courses can be taken in English, Spanish or Catalan in an international classroom environment. They are structured in modules of different duration and intensity, which can be flexibly combined in periods ranging from one to five weeks.

The university also offers co-curricular events and excursions opened to all summer students to get to know Barcelona and its culture. Some of these events are a daytrip to Montserrat, a walking tour in Barceloneta neighborhood or a light dinner at sunset.
