We are approaching to December and Barcelona is getting prepared to have everything ready for the next weeks. Christmas lights are already set up and they are about to switch on the 28^th of November specifically. The Passeig de Gracia, one of the most emblematic and commercial streets of the city, will premiere a new Christmas lighting. The decoration has been chosen are giants and transparent butterflies and falls of lights of 5 meters. Also this year, besides to celebrate the centenary of the traditional Christmas market, located in front of the Cathedral of Barcelona, this year the county city inaugurates a new Christmas market in Port Vell, the Barcelona Harbor, taking advantage of the 150 anniversary of it.

This new Christmas fair will have 5000 square meters and will be located in front of the Colon sculpture.

The most exciting curiosity will be a Christmas tree 31 meters height, that for sure it will attract lots of people. Nonetheless the classic merry-on-round, the manger floating, a stage for music and theatre, Christmas stands made of wood, gastronomic area and activities for all the families will get a really new attractive space to enjoy during those points out days in the city.

From 5^th of December to 5th of January everybody will be invited.
