It is arriving the time to Music Festivals in Barcelona; it is a kind of Summer opening for the city.

In the Mediterranean city takes place heaps of musical festivals and they offer people a wide range of options to enjoy them, it also, in most cases, there are free concerts around the city before each festival, so there are many options for all budgets.

I will show you the main ones below:

We start with Primavera Sound, from 30^th May to 1^st of June. You can check all the programming in the following link:

The next one will be the Pedralbes Festival, which takes place in Les Corts Distric in the Gardens of an old palace in Barcelona.  This year will be the seventh edition and the atmosphere of this festival will be much more relax comparing with other that attract people from many countries,  being popular and massive.

Sonar is another revolution for the fanatics of the dance and electronic music. It is happening since 1994 and it turns a kind of reference for many people from over the world being also a pioneering as a cultural event with a unique format and content.

Cruïlla Barcelona is another big music Festival which begins from 3rd until 6th of July and it takes place in Forum area.

This Music Festival is very homogeneous, it is a mix of many different music styles, and it is recommendable for all kind of publics. Year after year the number of visitants have been increased and this is another good attraction for many tourists.

Barcelona is one of the cities from Spain where you can enjoy music almost along the year, the summer ones are the most famous but we welcome other ones during the rest of the year, as the International Jazz Festival, or the Mas y Mas Festival or the Guitar Festival, or Bam festival during the main holidays of the city.
