Last Friday, our Spring 20' students had their first activity of the program----Gràcia Neighborhood Tour!

We went for a walk around one of the most popular neighborhoods in Barcelona. As we walked, they could learn many things about Vila de Gràcia and see some of the main squares of this particular neighborhood. They saw for themselves the bubbly atmosphere that surrounds this part of the city.

We are in love with this peculiar neighborhood, so it is very exciting to show this to our students, as there are many aspects of Vila de Gràcia that they could never see downtown. The little and unique shops, the tastefully decorated restaurants, the numerous squares where people gather and spend their time socializing and relaxing from their busy routines… It’s something one has to see and experience first-hand!

The district of Gràcia still seems an independent town from Barcelona as it was back in the 19th Century. One can easily notice how different it is from the city center!
