The Cross Cultural Manament and International Finance classes had an interesting trip to Girona on Friday November 10th. We started our day visiting at the Cosentino Center, which is the leader in surfaces for design and architecture.  Isabel Martínez-Cosentino, member of the Board and Arcadia´s professor, was in charge of explaining us the business model, specifically how the company deals with the exchange rate risk all over the world, core topic for the International Finance class.  Actually, Cosentino is present in more tan 20 countries, so understanding the challenges and opportunities for this company in relation to foreign currencies was a real learning for the class.

 After this visit, the group went to Girona´s downtown.  Ana, an experience tour guide, introduced us to this interesting city, explaining us how different civilizations (Romans, Arabs, and Jewish) built the city.  We visited important monuments, among them the ones shown in the 5th season of Game of Thrones!  It was fun and interesting at the same time.
