November in Scotland is filled with festivals and fireworks. To start the month, bonfires and fireworks to commemorate Guy Fawkes Night abound. At the end of the month, celebrate Scotland’s patron saint, Andrew.

Concert of Remembrance

Commemorate the centenary of World War I with a concert of music and stories of the war and those who fought in it.

Remembrance Sunday - Procession and Service

Sunday 11, 12:30pm, St Giles, Free

Join in the annual Remembrance Sunday Service, which includes a procession to help commemorate the centenary of World War I.

St Andrew’s Day Ceilidh

Friday 30, Doors Open 7pm, The JamHouse, £15 (Proceeds benefit Edinburgh Dog & Cat Home)

Bonfire Night Fireworks

Monday 5, Open from 5 with fireworks at 7:30, Glasgow Green, Free

Enjoy Bonfire Night with the annual fireworks display.

Pumpkin Carving with Eden Mill

Carve a pumpkin and try Eden Mill’s seasonal cocktails.

St Andrew’s Day Torchlight Parade

Join in a torchlight procession around the West End of Glasgow with pipe and Samba bands.
