Ballet under the stars!

During the summer, Teatro dell’opera di Roma, the opera house of Rome moves to the ruins of the Baths of Caracalla to present Rome’s open air Ballet and Opera. And tonight the students will have a unique opportunity to attend the opening of the season with the ballet “Serata Nureyev” in this fascinating venue. The ballet is dedicated to the choreography of Rudolf Nureyev, one of the most iconic dancer of the 20th century.
Featuring the principle dancers and soloists of corps de ballet of the opera house who will perform three extracts of the famous ballets: La Bayadere, Swan Lake and Raymonda. The evening’s entertainment will end with Act III of Raymonda, by Choreprgraphers Patricia Ruanne and Frédéric Jahn.
