Students are so excited for having attended one of the most fascinating shows on the history of Rome.
Seeing this sort of illustration of what the Augustus Forum looked like gave me better understanding of how truly spectacular the Roman Empire was.
Zachary Rowe - St. Mary's College, Rome Fall 2015
The show is in fact about Augustus, the founder of the Roman Empire and the emperor who ruled Rome from 27BC to 14AD, after Julius Caesar was killed.
The lighting, the archive footage and reconstructions beautifully combined with the sounds and the voice of the narrator recreate the glory years of the Roman Empire which spanned from current England to Iraq including Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
This was a huge opportunity to learn about the Roman civilization and find out how Rome contributed to Architecture, Technology and Art!
