A Special Halloween

It’s Halloween and our Rome students are in Fall break exploring Italy, Europe, or maybe just enjoying the Eternal City with their family and friends.

For all those who are in Rome and still looking for a special Halloween celebration we would highly recommend to join the Joel Nafuma Refugee Center (JNRC) for a Fundraising Dinner

JNRC is the primary outreach ministry of St. Paul’s Within the Walls Episcopal. During the week the center welcomes many refugee guests, asylum seekers and offers them different services as language courses, legal help and primary care.

Celebrating Halloween at JNRC would be a unique opportunity to meet this community, embrace new cultures and, above all, help raising money for a great cause!

Traditional foods and flavors of Louisiana will be cooked from Chef Libby and served from a group of volunteers. You will find red beans & rice, delicious collard greens, spiced roast chicken, Momma's cornbread and, of course, a Halloween trick-or-treat dessert.

Don’t forget to send an email to events@jnrc.it with number of places needed in order to book your spaces.

The Joel Nafuma Refugee Center is hosting a fundraising event on October 31st and the theme is American! There will be a costume contest to celebrate Halloween — so come dress up, have some fun, and most importantly raise money for the JNRC!
