Arcadia Ireland

This week UCC had their Arcadia welcome meal with their support officer Val Coogan. This gave the students an opportunity to get to know Val and ask any questions they may have about UCC and life in Cork. They began their evening with a group meal followed by a traditional Irish ceili. A ceili is a traditional Irish gathering where traditional Irish music and dance takes place. Our resident director, Dr. Tom Kelley, and Arcadia University's Vice President Lorna Stern also attended the meal and Ceili, having visited UCC earlier that day. The evening was one of "craic agus ceol" (music and fun) and was enjoyed by all.
