During their Summer Programme, students from Clemson University took a trip to see one of Europe's largest stadiums, Croke Park. Croke Park, or "Croker" as it is locally known, plays host to Ireland's national games, hurling and Gaelic football, and music concerts by world renowned acts such as One Direction and U2.

It has a capacity of 82,300 and in 2013 over 1 million people visited the stadium.

Croke Park Stadium Tours offer an access-all-areas trip through the home of Irish sport. Visitors  can enjoy panoramic views from the top tier of the stand – 30 meters above the famous pitch.

There is a museum within the grounds which has new exhibition galleries that vividly illustrate the story of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day.

A trip to Croker is definitely worthwhile when in Dublin.
