London Film and Comic Con comes to town on the weekend of 17th-19th July. Over the course of the weekend, a large number of awesome guests will descend upon Olympia in Earls Court. There will be panels, meet and greets, and photo ops. Actors, artists, and writers from fan favorites such as Star Wars, Doctor Who and Game of Thrones will be taking part in some form or another. For now, we want to turn our focus to the YALC. This is the Young Adult Literature Convention, a celebration of young adult literature where fans can met authors, only the second of its kind in the UK.

The aim of the event is to showcase the best of YA, authors and books, through a  number of panels and workshops. Popular authors such as Patrick Ness (Chaos Walking Trilogy, More Than This) and Samantha Shannon (The Bone Season) will be in attendance, among many others.

We are sure you will agree that the schedule for YALC looks fantastic.
