The end of the semester is (sadly) fast approaching. Before you know it we will all be at the end of semester event (check the Facebook group for more information) reminiscing about the good times of orientation and lamenting the fact that you will all be saying goodbye to our unpredictable weather.

But before all that, we wanted to remind you to enter our competitions. It takes no effort at all and you could win $50 worth to spend on Amazon. There is literally no reason NOT to enter. Below is all the information you need:

The Photo Competition

There are four categories: Rural, Urban, Community and Personal Highlights. These categories are up for your own interpretation, so snap away throughout your summer abroad. Submit your best photos to crownn@arcadia.edu and by the end of the semester, Arcadia staff will pick the winners. There will be one winner for each category and each winner will receive a $50 Amazon voucher. Previous entries can be found here.

The One Second Everyday Competition

Download the app onto your smartphone and get started now. The idea is that you film one second of your day every day, and you compile the clips to create a montage of what you have been up to. What better way to chronicle your study abroad experience?

Here is an example, courtesy of our Spring 2014 winner. You must submit a video that is at least 28 seconds long. The winner will receive a $50 Amazon voucher.

Interested? Good! There are only two rules for both of these competitions:

No offensive material is allowed.

Have fun with it! We cannot wait to see what you come up with.

Both competitions close at 5.30pm BST on July 22nd. Don't worry, we will make sure to remind you about the deadline.
