We are excited to welcome you to the UK this Fall semester! We’re dedicated to ensuring that you’ll create lasting memories. You’ll find a perfect balance between visiting many revered tourist attractions and lesser-known hidden gems.
Read on below for what we have in store. Event registration opens August 9th at 12 noon (EST) in your Arcadia Portal.

Windsor Castle
Today the Queen spends most of her weekends at Windsor Castle. It is the oldest and largest working castle in the world. William the Conqueror built the palace in the 11th century; it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Don’t miss the ceremonious changing of guards! You will also be charmed by the surrounding cobbled pathed town.

Wales Adventure Weekend
Preseli Venture in Pembrokeshire (west coast of Wales) has the perfect combination of excitement and relaxation. From kayaking to surfing, this adrenaline-inducing experience also offers moments of pure tranquility, as one gazes across the ocean out onto the Welsh horizon.

Edinburgh Regional Trip
Don’t miss an unforgettable weekend trip in the charming medieval capital city of Scotland. This cinematic backdrop, for blockbusters such as Avengers: Infinity War, will definitely have your phone gallery crammed with photos. Dare to try traditional Ceilidh dancing and visit a distillery of Scotland’s national drink Scotch, also known as the ‘water of life’.

Stonehenge and SALISBURY
Ever wonder about the mystery of these world renowned stones? It’s time to debunk those alien conspiracy theories and get a real glance into England’s ancient civilizations and ritualistic practices surrounding life, death and labour.
As we travel out of Stonehenge to Salisbury, we find ourselves turning our attention from former paganistic practices to Christianity. From the grooves of the pillars to the glistening candelabra, one can't help but be put in a reverent state of reflection for Catholicism's rich history. The cathedral holds the tallest spire in Britain at 404 feet and houses original copies of the Magna Carta from 1215.

Roman Baths and Christmas market
Wander through this beautiful city, constructed by the ancient Romans as a mass spa long before the Georgians made their mark by building its famous squares and grand houses. Be transported back in time as we visit the preserved Roman Baths. Will you be brave enough to sample the mystic healing waters once believed to heal over sixty aliments? It still remains today an idyllic spot for a moment of respite and during the yuletide you’re in for a real winter treat. Football Match
Get your head in the game at a Premier League football match. You'll experience British football culture first hand with tickets to a game for one of London's Premier teams! PLEASE NOTE: Group tickets for football matches can only be purchased 2 weeks in advance, so the exact match and date are TBC. If you’re interested in this event, please sign up to the waitlist and you’ll be emailed as soon as tickets are available.

Hidden London
Hidden London is a series of FREE events to showcase some of London’s best kept secrets and underrated destinations. This semester our Hidden London events will be taking place Friday afternoons. Make sure to keep your diaries free and discover London with us!
Sky Garden and Borough Market
See a panoramic view of London, from the highest public garden. Sky Garden, colloquially known as the ‘walkie-talkie’ skyscraper, sits in the heart of London, by the River Thames. Spy the London Eye, Tower Bridge and St.Paul’s Cathedral, just to name a few noteworthy landmarks.
Thereafter, take a leisurely walk to Borough market and discover a range of delicacies, from every vendors highly sought after hotspot.
Black Cultural Archives and Pop Brixton
We all know the great impact of the civil rights movement, but what of Black British history? The Black Cultural Archives boast a plethora of artifacts, exhibitions and events which: “preserve and celebrate the histories of people of African and Caribbean descent in the UK and to inspire and give strength to individuals, communities and society”.
Just a stone's throw away experience colourful Pop Brixton, a creative space full to the brim with exciting start-ups working in food, retail, design and social enterprise.
Regent’s Canal walk to Queer Britian Museum
Attend Britain's first ever LGBTQ+ museum. The first stop on our journey is Primrose Hill, revealing a panoramic view of London. We continue along the picturesque Regent’s Canal, to finally reach the newly opened Queer Britain Museum. This inclusive space welcomes everyone regardless of sexuality and gender identity. Located in Coal Drops Yard, explore the local area, with outdoor exhibitions, market spaces and a plethora of quality restaurants.
Mudchute City Farm
Join us on this trip to visit Mudchute city farm! Just south of London's financial district, the farm plays host to cows, pigs, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, chickens, birds, goats, and other small animals.
St Paul’s Cathedral
Join us for a guided tour of one of London’s most iconic landmarks. St. Paul’s Cathedral is a Grade I listed building, with the original church being built in 604AD. The dome is one of the tallest in the world, and it is a dominant part of London’s skyline, surviving the bombing of World War Two, and the modernisation of the surrounding city.
Jewish Museum
Discover Jewish Museum London, founded in 1932 and now situated in an elegant Victorian listed building in Camden Town. This museum tells the story of the heritage of Jews in Britain, in the heart of the Jewish settlement in East End London. Explore the fantastic exhibitions which showcase rare items and ceremonial Jewish art. The museum has also gained an entire collection from the Jewish Military Museum since 2015.
Cat Cafe
Are you a lover of all things cute and furry? Join us at the cat cafe! As the name suggests, experience the cafe delectables whilst being surrounded by a myriad of cats and kittens. Escape the bustle of city life, as you cuddle and play with these furry friends, in this cat sanctuary.
British Library tour
Join us on a tour of the world’s most comprehensive research collection. Boasting over 170 million items including artifacts from every age of written civilisation, this impressive library contains the Magna Carta and handwritten Beatles lyrics on some 400 miles of shelves.
