We are excited to announce a new venue has been chosen for holding student orientations in Australia.

With our operational hub now in Sydney, the need arose to find a new location to orient students as they commence studying abroad in Australia. We agreed the venue would, ideally, highlight certain themes that form the bedrock of the Australian identity, provide a space whereby the team and the students can meaningfully engage with each other and their surroundings, and allow the important work of building the vision, and profile, of Arcadia in Australia to continue. We are thrilled to have found such a venue.

Located within Sydney Harbour National Park, and yet just a short drive from the popular coastal town of Manly, Q Station is an award winning, National Heritage listed hotel in a tranquil and spectacular setting on the shores of Sydney Harbour.

Rich in history, Q Station served for over 150 years as the quarantine station for migrant boats arriving into Sydney and consequently this region was the site for some of the earliest contact between Aboriginal people and Europeans. Far predating the era of Australia's early migration, the surrounding region is significant for its indigenous history, including well preserved rock engravings, art sites and other places of cultural significance for the Guringai people. Today, perched atop the North Head, Q Station is a hidden gem, but still just a short ferry ride across the Harbour to the hustle and bustle of Sydney. With its panoramic coastal views, native Australian flora and fauna, fantastic meeting rooms and breakout spaces, Q Station provides an environment that will enable our team to build relationships and create memorable beginnings for the students' experience of Australia.

The team are excited to maximise this wonderful setting and planning is underway to welcome students early in 2019.
