A DAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

Sunday 14 June

Join fellow students from Arcadia programs in Florence, Perugia, and Sorrento for a unique day out at Orsini Farm, set on the shores of Lake Trasimeno in the beautiful region of Umbria. This experience is designed to be hands-on, social, and a fun way to connect with local culture beyond the classroom.

After arriving, you’ll enjoy a traditional homemade country breakfast before splitting into small groups for interactive activities. Throughout the day, you’ll get to try authentic rural tasks. Every season is a different kind of work: planting seeds, harvesting grapes, picking olives, or helping produce olive oil and wine alongside local family members who will share their knowledge and traditions with you. Throughout the day, we’ll have the opportunity to discuss sustainable farming practices, and, if time and weather allow, we'll feed the farm's animals. After a homemade farm-to-table lunch, you’ll return to your host cities with lasting memories.

The day in the countryside is free, come one, come all!
