Your adventure starts here...

Building upon Arcadia’s legacy of distinction in global education, we have created a range of programs to further the achievement of your educational goals.

Most Arcadia students study at Arcadia centers or at select partner universities.  The steps below outline the process you will follow and will be covered in detail when you meet with your advisor. Consider planning a year in advance of the application deadline.  This allows ample time to formulate meaningful learning outcomes, explore a range of options, and consider timing and integration within your degree requirements.

For ARCADIA approved programs:

  1. Research your program options.
  2. Consult with a Study Abroad Advisor
  3. Consider the most appropriate term/s to study.
  4. Review your academic plan and degree requirements.
  5. Understand your program costs and scholarship opportunities.
  6. Select your program.
  7. Review course options with your academic advisor.
  8. Review previous course equivalencies here.
  9. Start your application.

For Affiliated Programs:

For specific curricular reasons, some students may choose to study on Arcadia Affiliated Programs.  In addition to items above, you must

  1. Ensure your program choice meets your curricular goals.
  2. Start your program specific application.  This process will vary based on your program choice.

For Non-Affiliated Programs:

Occasionally, a student may wish to attend a study abroad program that is not affiliated with Arcadia and therefore may not be recognized for academic credit. If you wish to study abroad and seek academic credit toward your degree on a non-affiliated program, in addition to items above, you must

  1. Ensure your program choice meets your curricular goals.
  2. Seek approval from the Division of Civic and Global Engagement.
  3. Understand your program costs, as Arcadia aid will not apply.
  4. Start your program specific application. This process will vary based on your choice.
