Dr. Sandra Crenshaw is the Dean of Academic Enterprise for The College of Global Studies. She holds a B.S. in English Education from East Stroudsburg University and a Ph.D from Lehigh University in Medieval Literature and Linguistics.

As a collaborative global engagement leader with over 15 years of expertise in strategic planning, project management, curricular design, communication strategies, and innovation development, Dr. Crenshaw’s experience has led her to spearheading rewarding initiatives with international teams to enhance pedagogies in both traditional and virtual spaces. Dr.  Crenshaw has facilitated world-class engagements to enhance human-centered strategic planning approaches which resulted in the expansion of global outreach and programming.  Dr. Crenshaw’s experience has resonated in her professional leadership roles such as serving as the General Editor of the Global Studies Literature Review and as a frequent accreditation reviewer for both domestic and international institutions.

Bridging the innovative spaces between academic programs and strategy, Dr. Crenshaw directs efforts to build linkages between mission and the realities of the external, competitive marketplace, protecting and projecting the creative vision of The College.  As a facilitator of The College’s academic enterprise, Dr. Crenshaw builds and implements strategies to position Arcadia Abroad as a leading innovator in the higher education marketplace.

Her current intellectual interests focus on the intersections of the global and liberal arts learning experience, and the amplification of the core liberal arts learning goals within traditional, virtual, and hybrid global experiences..

Dr. Crenshaw is also a gaming and game theory enthusiast who has been telling stories with friends and rolling dice for over 35 years.
