Rob Hallworth has been involved with international educational programming and promotion for nearly 30 years. The majority of that time was spent working at university study abroad offices, first at the University of New Hampshire (Coordinator of Student Programs, 1997-2001), then at Salisbury University (Director of International Education, 2001-2006), and finally at The George Washington University (Director of Study Abroad, 2006-2017). Prior to joining The College for Global Studies at Arcadia University in 2022, he served as Vice President of Academic Operations at IES Abroad from 2017-2021.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in leadership at professional organizations, especially The Forum on Education Abroad and NAFSA. He has served on the boards and advisory councils at Arcadia University, the South India Term Abroad Program, IES Abroad, the School for International Training, and the New England/Quebec Student Exchange Program.

Rob and his wife, Beth, live in Chicago where they enjoy going to concerts, taking in the occasional trivia night, and hiking (especially at the Morton Arboretum). They have three children. In his spare time, Rob enjoys playing the drums, the guitar and singing.

Rob received a BA in History from the University of New Hampshire, an MA in Russian Studies from Georgetown University and studied abroad in Ukraine.
