Marilyn joined TCGS London & Wales in 2023 as Acting Associate Director Academic Affairs. With over 30 years of experience, and an extensive background in higher education both in the USA and abroad having developed programs, resulting in the expansion of the global approaches to curriculum, internships (work based learning), scholarship, outreach, enrollment and programming.
A native New Yorker with a strong Commonwealth Caribbean upbringing. Marilyn has a passion for cultural understanding and supporting differences in student- centered environments. She picked up the bug for international travel whilst traveling with bands, orchestra's in High School, as well through competitive sport. The opportunities whilst at Hobart and William Smith as an undergraduate were endless embracing Scotland and St. Andrews University; as well as a Resident Advisor /TA for ESL students from Japan traveling to Canada and other New England locations through HWS.
Outside of work Marilyn enjoys time with her family living in Wales, tasting foods, learning Welsh, trekking the coastal paths and Brecon Beacons. An avid supporter of rugby and the arts. Marilyn is excited to join the team supporting the collaborative efforts with enthusiasm and hopes to add value in all aspects of her encounters.
