Lara Daigle is an alumni of Arcadia University, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a Musical Theatre concentration in 2021. During her time as a student, she participated in Arcadia's week-long "Preview" study abroad experience to Dublin and Derry, Ireland to study Irish political history. She continued those studies along with Irish language and culture when she completed a semester at the University of Galway in Galway, Ireland during her junior year.

After her time abroad, she served in the Study Abroad Student Mentorship Program where she acted as a study abroad representative at campus events, hosted pre-departure orientations, and worked on the marketing committee.

Post graduation, she began work as a professional actor and acting coach in the Pittsburgh area, while also working daily with students K-12 in her alma mater, Greater Latrobe School District. Between the summers of 2023 and 2024, she embarked on a year-long Working Holiday Authorization, returning to Galway, Ireland. There she gained first-hand experience in navigating international immigration laws, and banking, housing, and working abroad. Throughout her year in Galway, she worked in the hospitality sector, including a local family-run cafe and a Michelin Bib Gourmand rated restaurant, and additionally became an active member of Galway's vibrant arts community.

Studying abroad while at Arcadia University immeasurably changed Lara's life for the better, and she is very excited to help the next generation of college students attain those same impactful experiences.
